Check out the First Look preview of X-Men Unlimited #30:
As KC pointed out, it's Abbey Road. But look where Kurt is. You guessed it ... he's in John's spot. Wearing John's suit.

As I told Rex, I just hope that this isn't a 'clever joke' that Marvel has, where it means that Colossus seems to be dead but isn't, and Kurt is the one that actually is...

Oh WoW! I. WANT. THIS. BOOK!!!
Incorrigible BEATLES fan that I am, this cover tickles me to no end! The inside could completely SUCK and i'd shell out TWICE the cover price just for the cover!
Thanks for the scoop REX

I'm going to have "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" in my head all weekend.
YEah, I'm curious about this one. Seems a bit too weird and witty for Marvel.

Greetings and good eventide, KNIGHT_CRAWLER and REX LUSCUS! Too witty indeed, but I wouldnt put anything past the 'House of ideas' now that Quesada's at the helm. What with Colossus' apparent fate and all of the X-offices talk of expecting more 'shocking deaths', maybe it IS an omen of some bad things yet to come...

Wow thats totally bizarre! My curiosity is definately piqued. Thanks Rex!
I read at Fandom a while back that Unlimited was going to become a book similar to the back-up storys from Classic X-Men,with self contained stories spotlighting the character of individual X-Men.I saw the preview for April and it sounded pretty good.

I also wanted to comment-as Rex pointed out that Kurt is in John Lennons spot-that its quite fitting because Kurt is the biggest "dreamer" of them all.Im sure hes quite fond of the song "Imagine".

Hey, have any of you been to New York City? I have. I got to see The Dakoda (sp?) where John lived,(It's right next to Central Park, and did you know that Madonna wanted to live there, but they wouldn't let her?) and I got to see Strawberry Hill and the Imagine plaque. I also got to see where the offices for DC were, and I think I remember seeing where Marvel was too.

Mien Gott! That's very clever! And funny!!I'm not sure but isn't Petey in Paul's spot? In Beatle lore, much is made of Paul being barefooted in the scene. It was believed that this symbolized his death. Unlimited usually sucks, I hope this will be different.
Incidentally, I can't see priest Kurt liking "Imagine". But then I'm more of a Paul fan. The Walrus was Paul.

Very cool.
And to go along with other comments, This story probably happens before Peter's incident. And I think I also read somewhere that most of the stuff in upcoming Unlimiteds will be back up story types, like they did in Classic X. Or maybe, The Unlimiteds are simply behind the current continuity and they haven't caught up yet.
